Volunteer Requirements
We deeply value the commitment of our parents and community members in enriching our students’ educational experience. To ensure the safety and well-being of our campus, all volunteers—including field trip drivers and classroom helpers—must complete specific safety certifications and documentation.
Please do not share this page or password with anyone outside The Nativity School community.
Requirements for Volunteers and Field Trip Drivers
Register with CMG Connect
This will consist of two parts:
- Background Check on CMG Connect
Note: If you have had a LiveScan for TNS done prior to July 1, 2017, you will not need to complete this portion - Safe Environment Curriculum
Upon completion, please print out your certificates and submit them to the school office.
FIELD TRIP DRIVERS are required to:

Log in to their CMG Connect account and complete the Defensive Driving Course, then print the certificate to submit to the school office

Print and complete a Volunteer Driver Form (CLICK HERE) (previously known as the Safe Driver Form) and turn into the school office each school year

Provide the school with a copy of a valid Driver’s License

Provide the school with a current copy of your Proof of Insurance
CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERS are required to:

Print and sign a yearly Confidentiality Agreement (CLICK HERE) and turn into the school office

All volunteers must also submit a TB clearance. This can be in the form of a TB test with results, or you can have your doctor complete this QUESTIONNAIRE.
