Angela Amigable

8th Grade Homeroom Teacher/6th-8th English Language Arts Teacher

Mrs. Amigable joined The Nativity School in 2021 and serves as the eighth grade homeroom and Humanities teacher as well as the English Language Arts teacher for grades 6–8. With more than 20 years of teaching experience in Catholic education within the Diocese of San Diego, she is passionate about creating a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow academically, spiritually, and personally. Mrs. Amigable earned her Bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from Point Loma Nazarene University and her Master of Education degree from the University of San Diego. She is also a Fellow of the National Writing Project through its San Diego chapter at UCSD. Her commitment to literacy and student achievement is evident in her engaging, student-centered approach to teaching and learning. One of Mrs. Amigable’s favorite aspects of The Nativity School is its faith-centered environment, strong partnership with families, and vibrant student spirit. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband of more than 30 years and their two daughters. She also enjoys traveling, knitting, golfing, cooking, and pursuing hobbies that bring balance, creativity, and joy to her life.
