Mrs. Bateman joined The Nativity School in 2020 as Assistant Principal and Director of Learning Support and became Principal in 2024. She brings over 25 years of experience in education, having taught in parochial, public, and independent schools. Mrs. Bateman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Arizona, a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne, and a Master’s degree in Teaching from San Diego State University. In addition she holds a certificate in Catholic School Leadership from the University of San Diego. Mrs. Bateman feels honored to serve the Nativity community and is deeply committed to supporting the faculty, staff, students, and families of this amazing school.
